Storytelling is an art. But it also needs a bit of science.
The best storytellers:
collect stories every day,
reflect on their stories to find patterns and takeaways,
constantly reuse and refine looking for their signature stories.
They can’t rely on napkins or random files on their phone to constantly improve and write better stories. They need a system.
To collect stories (from me and other people), I use a Notion database. It’s great because it allows me to quickly catch them before I forget them, to connect and organize them, to reflect on them and so on.
In this webinar recording, I share my Notion system and the reasoning behind it. This way, you’ll be able to adapt it to your workflow.
I also created a template with everything during the webinar. Click here to import it into you Notion account.
During the webinar, I also mentioned the article databse I use to manage my entire writing workflow. To learn all the details (and download the template), click here.
