Even just 15 minutes a day can finally turn you into a writer.
My (controversial) method: make money > take a break from work > write.
It IS controversial.
How do you take breaks?
Like a sabbatical.
So completely separating working (for money) and writing, into different phases of life.
Not something I’m recommending… just something I’m doing!
Yes.
What's your job
Not one of those jobs with a sabbatical embedded.
Just took time off after a long run at a startup.
Background: https://www.linkedin.com/in/richardfoerster/
I see. I guess jobs with embedded sabbaticals are not so frequent.
It's rare.
But The Sabbatical Project is collecting data on companies with sabbaticals and trying to increase their number: https://thesabbaticalproject.org/corporate/
BUT even in the companies I've seen with sabbatical policies, employees don't always take them (usually for workaholism reasons - can't detach kinda thing).
That's why you need to TAKE a sabbatical, not wait to be given one.
